What is up! Its been years since I have had time to update this blog.Well today im gonna talk about a new toy that we just have purchased its a 3D printer!

It cost around RM 3.5k but the best part is that the material is biodegradable plastic.
As this is our first time using it, there are bound to be some hiccups but with perseverance and the will to succeed we manged to overcome all obstacle. 

Working Method To Print A Guard House:

Task 1

Sketchup drawing of Guard house

1. Open Sketchup choose architectural template(mm)

2. Import image and measure the longest dimension available on the 

    image.

3. Rescale the drawing to fit the 3D printer platform

Task 2

1. All drawings are raised to a thickness of 3mm
2. Windows and doors to be ommited
3. Copy and paste the similar parts and virtually join them in sketchup before printing

Task 3

1. Convert all skp files to SLT file and save.
2. Open Doraware(3D printer software) import SLT file
3. Generate G code and print the model
