The next thing that the students constructed was the stretcher bond wall.We placed masonry lines horizontally(using water levels) and also vertically(using plum bob).During laying of the bricks, the students used spirit level to further ensure the bricks are horizontally level from the frog and the exposed facade of the brick.We find this practice although time consuming but it helped us greatly during the rendering of the wall.
